Me and my group decided to start planning out the basic components of our brief so we could start designing the imagery and layout for our Adidas campaign. The idea behind our campaign was to make sport more equal and inclusive in terms of gender. The aim was to make the future of sport a more inclusive experience for everyone regardless of their gender or to even integrate both genders into teams.
We focused on four sport for four cities which included:
We started drawing outlines of the female and male sports figures for each sport and duplicated them to try and express the idea of movement:
To further promote the idea of equal gender roles we switched the ‘traditional’ gender colours and made the male figures pink and the female figures blue. As our target audience was 17-25 year olds we thought a slogan would make this campaign more catchy and memorable so we decided on ‘The Future Is Sport’ with a hashtag ‘Adigender’ as the younger audience mostly all use social media so it would spread the message of campaign on the internet.
